Sydney LoCoco was born in Houston, Texas in 2001. Her love of art began at a young age when she participated in the Art School for Children at the University of Clear-Lake. She took art lessons from local artist, Gay Paratore, and took second place in the Federal Junior Duck Stamp Conservation and Design Program at nine years old.  The Houston Rodeo featured one of her blue ribbon pieces from her school art contest.  During high school, she participated with the Yearbook and became the Design Editor in her Sophomore year.
She graduated from Clear Creek High School in 2019 and started her college career at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. When the Coronavirus Pandemic occurred, Sydney decided to transfer to the University of Houston in 2020 to be closer to home.  As a student for two years in the Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts, Sydney has developed a love for Graphic Design including Color, Typography and developing font types. Her exposure to studio arts includes Silkscreen, Ceramics, Fibers, Video Editing and Printmaking.
Sydney finished her education at the University of Houston - Clear Lake in May 2023. She has a Bachelor in Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design and a minor in Art History.
